New Turbo Draft
07/26/2010:
Marysville fire department purchased a new piece of equipment. The
department purchased a Turbo Draft which uses regular hose as you would a hard
sleeve for drafting from any water source.

Pool Rescue Class
07/26/2010:Marysville
fire department and ambulance had a combined training at the Marysville Boro
Pool. Crews went over rescue techniques with the local life guards on how
to extricate patients from the pool. We also had some fun time after the
class with playing in the pool.


Welcome to Marysville
07/24/2010:Marysville
fire department responded to a single vehicle auto accident in the 800 block of
N State Rd. Crew arrived on scene to find a truck into the Marysville
Sign. Sign was knocked down. Crews assisted PD while on scene.

Med. Local turns into inside Gas Leak
7/15/10: This
morning rescue 6 was dispatched by EMS for a lift assist. On arrival the rescue
crew took notice to a strong odor of gas in the residence. The box was upgraded
bringing in engine 6. While assisting with the removal of the patient, fire
crews also set up ventilation and controlled the gas leak. fire crew's cleared
the scene with in an hour. New Ambulance!!


Crash in the 2 Box

Minor Crash in the 6-01 Box
5/11/10: Marysville
firefighters were dispatched to the area of 306 South state rd. for an accident
with injuries. Chief 6-1 arrived to find one vehicle which had struck a parked
car. Chief 6-1 held the box to company 6 and CC.75. Fire crews remained on scene
for a short period of time assisting with fluids and debris removal.

Shed Fire in the First Due
5/2/2010: Tonight
Marysville firefighters were alerted to Fleisher lane for a reported shed fire.
Engine 6 arrived to find a small fire inside of a shed. Firefighters made a
quick knock on the fire leaving minor damage to the shed itself. Units on scene
were E6,T6,S6.

Ice Skating on the Interstate
12/13/2009:
Marysville Fire Department responded to Cumberland County to assist with a motor
vehicle accident in the area of 11&15 and Interstate 81. Accident was due
to ice on the roadways which caused numerous accidents in the area.
